John likes to take his creativity, loosen it up, and have fun with it. John grew up in the Southside of Chicago in the Back of the Yards neighborhood which shaped him into the hard worker he is. He began his filmmaking career interning at post production houses like Optimus and Utopic. Later on he landed in the world of production where he learned the ins and outs. While he was working in production, he interned at Daufenbach Camera where he learned about cinema cameras and networked with cinematographers and camera crews. Here he transited and worked on professional sets as a camera assistant and operator on feature films, tv shows, and commercials. Aside from snapping a shutter he loves to workout, hoop, fish, and eat a bowl of cereal before bed.
